In addition to our weekly courses, E4C often invites guest facilitators to conduct workshops and special events. In the past, we have hosted music workshops with world renowned musicians, Poetry Slams, Legal Workshops, and Leadership trainings.
In March, days before COVID-19 shut down our program, 2020 Exchange for Change hosted an inaugural Poetry Slam: STREET FOOD - inside Dade C.I. Award winning, young poets, from the outside, jumped the fence and went four rounds against E4C Spoken Word students…E4C students walked away with the crown.
