FIRST DAY OF PRISON PART 1
I remember my first day of prison...
Orlando, Florida.
Reception Center.
My perception centers on
GETTIN’ in and GETTIN’ out.
I got in with da’ onez
WHO NEVER GOT OUT.
Like a CAGED SEED
Unable to sprout
Beyond a RAZOR-WIRED pot,
Being stuck in a mystery prison plot,
Not knowin’ if this time
Will ever STOP!,
So that time at livin’
Can have its own clock,
Enjoyin’ da’ tick-TOCK
TICK-tock
TICK-TOCK
Of Liberty’s bell.
MY COUNTY ORANGEZ ENTER HELL.
Stripped NAKED and BARE,
As da’ COLD AIR cracks
Around my tremblin’ BREATH.
My tremblin’ FLESH burns
Under chillin’ SHOWER WATER that stabs.
Forced to grab hand-me-down STATE RAGz
And paint my Black body BLUE,
Since free-world richez ran thru a leak.
Free-world wishez slam thru shit’s creek.
A C.O.’s STIFFED ARM
Even blew my BLUED BODY back.
I wanna react with dat
BLOOD-IN-MY-EYE attack!!!,
But dat track won’t be known
For another seven yearz.
So, my EARz listen to my FEARz,
Let this lil’ ass kkkracka slide.
It’s a playground now,
But dat shit ain’t SWINGIN’
In future nowadayz.
Cuz dat shit get me SWINGIN’
Out this rage!!!
CAGED
But will raise
BARRED WINGz into a sage,
Who is unafraid of ‘dem dayz when
‘DEM TRIPLE ‘K’z
Bait with
BOOT stumpz!
FIST poundz!!
MACE drownz!!!
All in HANDCUFFz
FACE-down
On a BLOODY ground,
Until da’ last sound
Of a prisoner takin’
HIS LAST BREATH.
