AN INTRODUCTION FOR OUR NEW DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR: Aniko ZSEMLYEOVA
Joining Exchange for Change has been the result of incredible circumstances that brought me on board as a member of the Board of Directors last year. I’ve known Kathie, E4C’s founder, through my work at another nonprofit, and when I learned they were looking for new board members, my interest was immediately sparked.
Before joining the board, I had the opportunity to teach mindfulness in a women’s prison through E4C’s programming, where I experienced firsthand the deep importance of education and personal growth opportunities within the correctional system. After several months of engaging as a board member, I was offered the opportunity to step into the organization as part of the team, which felt both exciting and deeply meaningful.
This role feels both unique and uplifting to me, both personally and professionally. I see Exchange for Change as an organization rooted in genuine connection with our students and strengthened through mutually beneficial relationships with partner organizations, businesses, and the community. I believe E4C has tremendous potential to positively impact South Florida and beyond and I’m excited to help support that growth.
Here’s to a successful 2026 and to continuing to grow while serving our students with care and intention.
